There’s nothing better than a nice pamper at the end of a long day and I am growing ever partial to a nice sheet mask (warmed up! Always warm, I don’t like cold things being plopped on my face unless it’s some kind of dessert…)
I’ve been looking around for a while for a mask which is safe to use around the eyes – fact is you need to keep a lot of masks away from the delicate eye area in case of irritation. Also I find that if I use anything too heavy my eyes go very puffy and red.
Enter Elemis Absolute Eye Mask:
They Say:
An eye-brightening treatment that combines vital extracts of Rose, Lavender, Mimosa, Cornflower and Camellia to help decongest, firm, tone and minimise dark circles, leaving the delicate eye area revitalised and rejuvenated.
This treatment comes in a 30ml tube and should be used once or twice a week – I put it on at the SAME TIME as my other face masks to save bother!
Leave the treatment on for 10-15 minutes and rinse away.
This Absolute Eye Mask has a nice, light floral scent and the texture is that of a lightweight gel. I think it’s the best texture for the eye area….Light, cooling, hydrating and easy to rinse (you don’t want to be scrubbing away at the eyes to get it off!).
Put this in the fridge and you have an extra good de-puffing treatment! (In fact I like the contrast of cold around the eyes and warm on the face. Reminds of me Hot Chocolate Fudge Cake with Ice Cream…mmmmm……ice cream).
Here is the mask:
I’ve been using this for a few months – use SPARINGLY and it will last for ages.
I really like the treatment! It’s nicely hydrating and I found my skin feeling softer and a lot less puffy. To be honest, I wouldn’t use another mask treatment around my eyes if it wasn’t recommended for that area – my eyes are too sensitive so I will definiately carry on using this in the future.
Ingredients:
Pros:
- Cooling treatment
- Hydrating
- Easy to apply and remove
Cons:
- £27 for 30ml, it’s not cheap
Remember – don’t apply it too close to the eyes! You can use it in the EYE AREA, not in the eye – that’s just silly!
Recommended for those who want to give the eyes some maskin’
