I really love using rich body oils that sink nicely into the skin after a shower (dry oils I have realised, don’t really suit my skin) so was happy to try out this Dermaoil product, which feels like it’s in the same vein as Bio Oil – it’s for skin repair and stretch marks. They say: Dermaoil Skin Repair & Anti-Stretchmark Oil is a topical specialist skincare product for anti-ageing, scars and stretch marks.Contains breakthrough […]
I have been testing some new bath and body products from a UK based brand called Peculiar People – created by Deborah, who started the business due to her love of making handmade high quality products. I have 3 products here to review; Heavenly Hosts Soap, Mango Face Mask and Whipped Body Butter. Interesting fact: Peculiar People is actually a biblical reference (I didn’t know this!).
In this rather picture heavy post, I will be sharing with you my very newly adopted (as in this week!) skincare regimen. I have stopped using my current products (a mixture of Kiehls, Shu Uemura, Sisley, Darphin etc.) to solely concentrate on Environ products. Why? Because after my really cool facial, and skin scan, I am going to trial this range then go back in March for another scan. If these products have done what […]
Skincare is at the forefront of my mind this year; I am really keen to look after my skin as I am getting older, getting less rest etc. So I have been trying different treatments. One notable treatment I tried just before Christmas was at The Courthouse Clinics. Aside from surgical procedures, they also offer non-surgical procedures for people who prefer a different approach. I tried the CoffeeBerry Enzyme Peel combined with the Omnilux Red […]
These last few weeks I have been focusing a lot on skincare and creating a skincare ‘basket’ by my bed where I will put in my daily use products so I don’t get bogged down by product fatigue. It’s working – my skin is looking better already. But I digress. I am actually going to talk about various cleansers I’ve been testing over this last month or two. One of them is the Marine Skin […]
Bayliss and Harding is one of those ranges that are now present all over the place; their ranges do look a lot like some other well known ranges (Molton Brown *cough* Philosophy *cough*) but you know, even so, they are quite an affordable range so if some brands are well out of your price range then at least there’s a close alternative. Bayliss & Harding have a ton of gift sets available for all […]
Elemis have always had some excellent skincare kits which offer a big discount – in the new year, there will be 4 new sets that come in a useful bag for different skin types / requirements; Rehydrate, Balance, Resurface and Illuminate. Each set contains a full size cleanser and matching toner, and a handbag sized Illuminating Flash Balm (which suits all skin types). The sets go like this:
I first spotted this offer over a week ago on HotUkDeals (I love that website but am too scared to post any deals I find incase I get bullied in the comments…) and as PREDICTED, as is the same every year – one of the final Boots Star Gift Offers is the gloriously huge Soap & Glory Gift Set. This year it is The Yule Monty: I buy this EVERY SINGLE YEAR and end up […]
