I’ve had these products from Delarom for months and months and only now am I getting the chance to give it all a write up. Delarom is a skincare brand from France, from the Benet family, who previously owned Decleor and Darphin (and yes, Delarom is totally similar to these two other brands!). This range is supposed to toe the line between being natural and eco-friendly, whilst being advanced technologically and providing anti-aging results to […]
Ah! I’ve had this Darphin cleanser FOR-EVER and since it is on it’s last legs, it must mean it’s time to give it a review before it goes to empty skincare heaven. Darphin is a French Skincare brand, one of those high end, luxurious spa feel brands, not unlike Decleor, Elemis et al. The other brands stand out more to me, but Darphin should not be ignored! They have some really lovely products. Like this […]
Midnight Recovery Concentrate (MRC!) is one of my favourite – if not my favourite – skincare products from Kiehls (I will review soon). It is a very light weight facial oil which is used a night (obviously) to give radiance to the skin the following day. Kiehls has now teamed up with Alicia Keys (New Yorrrrrkkkk) to release a limited edition bottle of MRC to support the Charity, Keep A Child Alive. The […]
Aloha! Following my skincare trial with Environ products (started here, and here, updated here) I think this is one of the most disciplined I have been with a skincare regime for a long time. Now to update you with my follow up Visia skincare scan, to see what differences the products have made to my skin. Mary is the manager on Environ, and is a throughly knowledgable and nice advisor on all things Environ. She […]
This is basically an update to the skincare trial I have been…er…..trialling, which is a large selection of products from Environ. My introductory post is here, and also the funky facial I had with the brand is here. Now, this coming week I will be returning to the Environ counter for a skin scan, using the Visia machine (same as this one at Elemis) to see what difference using their skincare has made. I will document […]
I really love using rich body oils that sink nicely into the skin after a shower (dry oils I have realised, don’t really suit my skin) so was happy to try out this Dermaoil product, which feels like it’s in the same vein as Bio Oil – it’s for skin repair and stretch marks. They say: Dermaoil Skin Repair & Anti-Stretchmark Oil is a topical specialist skincare product for anti-ageing, scars and stretch marks.Contains breakthrough […]
I have been testing some new bath and body products from a UK based brand called Peculiar People – created by Deborah, who started the business due to her love of making handmade high quality products. I have 3 products here to review; Heavenly Hosts Soap, Mango Face Mask and Whipped Body Butter. Interesting fact: Peculiar People is actually a biblical reference (I didn’t know this!).
In this rather picture heavy post, I will be sharing with you my very newly adopted (as in this week!) skincare regimen. I have stopped using my current products (a mixture of Kiehls, Shu Uemura, Sisley, Darphin etc.) to solely concentrate on Environ products. Why? Because after my really cool facial, and skin scan, I am going to trial this range then go back in March for another scan. If these products have done what […]
