Tweezerit-Gorgeously-Groomed-Brows-to-Be-Proud-Of-—-Inbox.jpg

Tweet There are two things that I constantly lose; lip balms and tweezers.  This year alone I have misplaced three pairs…I think they are hiding somewhere along with some odd socks, conspiring against me.  But I digress… A girl can never have enough pairs of good tweezers.  As someone who not so long ago picked up some 99p ones from Home Bargains, I can confirm that cheap tweezers that are hard to hold, or don’t quite meet in the middle {Read More}

Real Techniques Your Eyes Enhanced Starter Set Review

Real-Techniques-Your-Eyes-Enhanced-Starter-Set-Review-2

Tweet The other set of Real Techniques brushes I purchased from Amazon with a slight discount was this ‘Starter Set’ which is specifically for the eyes.  There is a set of 5 products in this in a nice purple and black design with a case that doubles as a stand. I am quite fussy about my eye brushes; I have a trusty few I seem to use a lot then the rest just get picked up occasionally. My favourite expensive {Read More}

I-love-Japonesque-Baby-The-Cutest-Baby-Grooming-Tools-.jpg

Tweet Being a beauty blogger, it is only natural that Baby Candy has a rather decent looking set of skincare and grooming tools.  And when it comes to accessories and tools, they don’t come cuter than Japonesque baby! Japonesque Baby is a set of animal themed grooming products for hair, nails and other duties! I have 6 of the goodies here to review. I’ve actually found cutting Baby C’s nails quite a task – he is sensitive to any movement {Read More}

Keep your make up brushes clean! Baviphat Magic Girls Brush Cleaner

Baviphat-Magic-Girls-Brush-Cleaner.jpg

Tweet Have you seen my make up brush collection? And how I stored it (for a while?!).  It’s quite immense.  I don’t usually wash them all at the same time, I do just a couple at a time every 2 weeks or so (especially base brushes).  I see all kinds of cleansers, soap, shampoo, alcohol.I don’t think you have to be that strict about it as long as the brush is clean and the product isn’t too harsh. Nevertheless I {Read More}

Because I just can’t buy one: Paul & Joe Make Up Brushes Pinceau Review!

Paul-Joe-Make-Up-Brushes.jpg

Tweet eBay is a really good place to get some make up brush bargains PROVIDED that you know what you are looking for and use trusted sellers with good feedback. You can get good discounts but obviously be sensible – no one is selling a full range of MAC brushes for £9.99! I purchase these Paul & Joe Brushes from eBay for an average of £10 each. Not bad huh! They retail for a lot more. They come in this {Read More}

Tesshu-Collection-Make-Up-Brushes_-Eye-Shadow-Brush-Shadow-Under-Liner-Brush.jpg

Tweet I have reviewed Tesshu or Tesshyu brushes before and found them to be gorgeous, a real investment. A few months go I invested in the non portable versions of their brushes, the Shadow Under Liner Brush (for under the eyes and also great for tight lining) and Eye Shadow Brush Large: The brushes come in plastic packaging – quite swish really! They are blue handled – there is also a more expensive red handle range.

Shu Uemura Goat Hair Foundation Brush No 18 Review

Shu-Uemura-Goat-Foundation-Brush.jpg

Tweet I had my beady eye on the Shu Uemura Goat Hair foundation brush for a long, long time. I finally saw it with a decent discount on eBay and went ahead and purchased the No. 18! This brush is unusual for a foundation brush for so many reasons! It’s a short handle, its a small head, it’s stubby and sort of more of a blusher brush, it has goat hair which is quite rough etc. etc.  It’s nothing like {Read More}
