Tweet A week or so ago I posted on the Smashbox Click You’re It photo event in Manchester – this is a chance for people to pop along to a Smashbox counter and have their make up done and have a set of photographs taken by one of their pro photographers. I went along to a session in Boots Trafford Centre and I thought I’d share the results and experience! Firstly the Smashbox counter in the Trafford Centre (one of {Read More}

The-Clothes-Show-Live-2011-.jpg

Tweet It took a while for us to get backstage to see celebrity make up artist, Rachel Wood do the make up for The Clothes Show 2011 catwalk (using Benefit products), but despite Mr Security Guard getting all No-no-no, it was so worth it. Backstage is crazy no?  So many half naked young gorgeous models running around, mixed up with celebrities and dancers.  But I was there to take a look at the make up!

Tweet It was a last minute idea to go to The Clothes Show – the last time I went was about 6 years ago, as a student and I spent time randomly mooching around all the shops.  I was offered a set of tickets, so I took myself, Mr C, Megan, 11 years old and star of YouTube, and Faye the teenager aged 17 to the event. Primarily, my reason for making the 2 and a half hour drive was {Read More}

IABUK-_-Social-media-forum.jpg

Tweet I’m heading off to London town today as I was asked to be a panellist for the IABUK Social Media Forum Event (Internet Advertising Bureau UK). The event is way to help UK marketers make sense of how to talk to consumers using social media, and myself, Mr Holy Moly (read his site, it’s hilarious) and Ewan MacLeod from Mobile Industry Review will be on a panel, answering questions about how we like to be approached and spoken to {Read More}
