My Beauty Diary is a Taiwanese brand that primarily makes in sheet masks but have recently expanded into skincare products. I purchased their Rose and White Peony Sleep Concentrate (read about sleeping packs here) to try because the packaging is so cute!
The gel works like an invisible mask that locks in moisture on the skin. It can be used as a regular moisturiser or as a sleeping pack when applied more thickly at night. You are supposed to wash the pack off in the morning but I’ve need seen any harm in leaving it on!
Ingredients:
The sleeping pack has a medium thick jelly gel type texture. It is the soft of gel that seems to sit on the surface for a little while, then sinks in. To tell you the truth, I used this on Mr C twice as he has very dry skin that flakes a lot, and then I didn’t see it again as Mr C has nicked it!
He has found it super hydrating and that it almost locks in a layer of moisture – even in the morning he can feel some moisturiser left on his skin (in a good way IF you have very dry skin. Obviously you can wash this off if you don’t like it).
This stuff is very economical with the texture it has, it goes pretty far.
I used this product a few times myself and I like it; skin feels really soft the next day but then I’ve liked all the sleeping packs I tried before.
I don’t like the scent though; Mr C doesn’t mind it but to me it’s quite a pungent rose with an almost slightly alcoholic type scent?! Sounds crazy but that’s what it reminds me of and I dislike any heavily scented skincare.
Otherwise this is a nice sleeping pack, nicer than most night creams.

I’ve also tried this, as I’ve always liked the MBD masks, and I don’t know if it’s just me or if everyone else does this, but all the residual mask “juice” in the packet I squeeze out and use too
I’m not usually a huge fan of rose scented products (since receiving a rose scented set when I was younger, it just always reminds me of old lady products :S) but this one doesn’t irk me too much. Love the texture, plus how soft it makes my skin feel in the morning…two thumbs up!
