I was sent a few mineral eyeshadows to try from Overall Beauty weeks and week ago! (you won’t believe the backlog at Candy HQ!).

I do like the idea that mineral eyeshadows are gentler on the eyes although if I’m in a rush, pressed shadows are my choice.

The eyeshadows come in little jars like a lot of mineral shadows. The shades I was sent seem to be on the natural, useable side.

First three – Pink Pearl with a slight shimmer, a light white and a shimmer white:

The next three are are stronger – Chameleon is a rich brown with a chunky glitter finish. Guinevere is a slightly matte finish indigo and Summer Wheat is a shimmer beige:

Did a look using Chameleon, Summer Wheat and White Glitter:

Pros:

- Overall Beauty don’t use talk or or bismuth oxychloride which makes a lot of women itchy.

- The colours are quite wearable, perhaps good if you want something that can be worn every day.

- No complaints about the powder, its smooth, the darker shades are pigmented and goes on well.

Ingredients:

Zinc Oxide USP, Titanium Dioxide ,Mica ,Iron Oxides , may have Ultramarine Blue Kaolin Clay

Cons:

- The shades are either for you or not – they aren’t quite like Fyrinnae pigments if you are looking for something mega bright or metallic.

You can see the Overall Beauty Site here – its based in the US and ships worldwide. There’s a HUGEEEEE amount of stuff on there so it might take a while to look through the whole range!
