The Balm, for all intents and purposes is a very cute brand to use and I have tried some bits and pieces from their range that have been quite successful.
This product, the Sexy Mama is a anti-shine translucent powder which is supposed to work for all skintones. The result is a matt, soft effect without a cakey look.
It comes in a cute compact that is cardboard – I have always said I prefer plastic over cardboard but at least its not bulky.
The formula doesn’t have Parabens, Sulfates, Dyes, Fragrances, Phthalates. Good!

I was also worried about it looking ashy (which it does look IF you slap it on). Otherwise it just leaves a beautiful glow, thats soft and – yes – kinda sexy.
Can’t vouch for how this would look on very dark skin though. I used it on me here, on my cheek and around the eye area. I think its quite nice:
I find some powders that are just for taking away shine leave a whitish cast or look too powdery. I do think this is a great powder for adding a believable, soft glow to the face without any chalkiness.

Verdict:
Its a really nice powder! Retails for about £15.
