Good Morning Girls,
What a week its been! I can’t believe I am only in week 2 of a New Year and have had so much unfortunate luck already.
Nevertheless, I am optimistic – after all we are incredibly fortunate to be here and we should spread some love to the people of Haiti.
And on that happy note, I thought I’d do a stash focus post today on Scott Barnes. Scott is well known for being J-Lo’s make up artist and for inventing Body Bling.
Now, I had a bit of a mad thing for Scott Barnes a while ago and bought a load of products from StrawberryNet (its discontinued everywhere else). The loose powder, and Royal Ice Loose Pigments I have already reviewed. I like and Overall, its a lovely range, kind of sexy and easy to use.
Here are a few of the eyeshadow I have. The packaging is fine, and the colours are quite natural but glam…not dull but not neon either.
Sable – a beige nude, perfect for the day:
This is Mermaid – I actually got this because I saw a J-Lo magazine cover where she wears a similar light blue. Pretty, quite sheer and soft:
Night:
This is a soft metallic black, its pretty dark and smoky but with a nice shimmer to it – reminds me of a Shu Uemura shadow I bought years ago:
The pans are quite big, bigger than Shu Uemura ones for example.
Finally Chocolate, a rich brown with gold bits. Really pretty and wearable:
Swatches:
These shadows cost me about £9 each from StrawberryNet (I get 10% discount because I’ve made a certain number of purchases. I was actually deeply disturbed the other day, when I bought something it told it was my 228th order…eek).
Scott Barnes shadows – are you tempted?

They’re pretty shades but the blue aside I have dupes of the others.
228th order??!! *faints*

Hey VexintheCity
I know! But in my defence, I have had the account for about 6 years so its only about 40 purchases a year
