Korean brand, Tony Moly have a really big stable of nail polishes that tend to belong to a certain “family” of polishes (e. Trendy, or Neon or the amazing Galaxy Nail Polishes).  However, I’ve banned myself from buying nail polishes of late because I have so many but almost inevitably, I have very little time to apply and remove it.  Then I saw these super duper cute almost circus like polishes from Tony Moly which I will call Fairy Puke – because isn’t this exactly what fairies would vomit?

There are only 3 shades in this range, from left to right: Milky Way (GS08) Shooting Star (GS09) Pinky Star (GS10). Cute right! Circus-y! Want to give them a shake?!

I am totally all for pastel shades like these at the moment and the glitter just makes it look more interesting!

Excuse my dry cuticles!

Milky Way!  This is a pale blue with a mixture of glitters, larger round and smaller ones, mainly in pink and blue.  This one was my least favourite because it took 3 coats to get decent coverage and the glitter was sparse.

Shooting Stat has a lilac base with different coloured sparkle in it, such as green, blue red.  This is my favourite of the bunch as it only took 2 coats to get a good finish and the multi coloured glitter really stands out.

Slightly diseased looking nails! I don’t care!

Pinky Star is a creamy milkshake pink with red and yellow glitters.  The yellow glitter makes the pink a bit strange! But it’s still nice, just not as nice as Shooting Star in my opinion.  This took 2 coats:

However like Milky Way it also has quite sparse glitter so you have to kind of wiggle your brush around to get some decent distribution of glittery particles.

Overall I like these polishes a lot! They’re just something fun to add to the collection.

I paid around £6 each for this on eBay.

What do you think of these nail polishes?

I think Milky Way looks like an attempt to dupe Deborah Lippman Glitter in the air or Revlon Whimsical… Just a thought. I do like them :) I think my fav is Pinky Star which is probably because I don’t have anything similar to it.

I agree with Becky, Milky Way definitely reminds me of Glitter In The Air (which is also super sheer on its own). Thank you for the post, Tony Moly seems to have some cute items, must remember to hit up eBay one of these days.
