When my pores said to me, hey beyatch, I need to do on a diet, I sat the first thing I though of was….Peppermint!

No not really. But the idea of peppermint + pores sounds good doesn’t it?

Peppermint Pore Diet Peel Off Mask is:

A peel-off mask that gently removes dead skin and controls sebum, with pore-minimizing peppermint and moisturizing orchid extract.

I haven’t used a peel off mask for years! Normally, they feel a bit filmy and you need to give your face a rinse anyway.

You get a generous 150ml with this. There was a time when I wouldn’t touch any face mask with a barge pole because it brought me out in hives then I discovered Nars Mud Mask which is the best deep cleansing mask that works for sensitive skins, ever.

This mask was quite thick but ok to spread, smelt minty and tingled as it went on. Took about 15-20 mins to dry properly (well it didn’t say a thin layer – but then again I can’t read Korean so what would I know?)

Verdict: It broke me out. Oh yes. My face got all red and hot, and one I had peeled it off, I was just sweating and my cheeks itched like mad. That was 10 days ago and they are still a bit itchy now!

For me its a no-no because I don’t like having an itchy face unless I’ve just had a shave (oh Dr Reyes! Why didn’t you do the sex change operation properly!) – so I am guessing you should have fairly oily, strong skin to use this otherwise I wouldn’t risk it.

Thank you for the review. I was thinking about trying this out, but it doesn’t seem too great from what you’ve experienced. I use Freeman’s Cucumber Peel-Off Mask. It has a cooling sensation similar to Peppermint but it’s really cheap and works fantastic.
