Next up in my mascara reviews is Mally’s Volumizing Mascara. This isn’t one that is particularly well known, but it came with a kit I was sent so I gave it a go.
They say:
The combination of natural waxes and carefully-chosen powders gives lashes an instant boost. The plush combing brush works with the powders in the formula to help thicken lashes without clumping, giving you gorgeous volume that lasts and lasts.
This brush of this mascara is a very traditional bristle, medium-large size which is quite easy to use even on my short lashes. It’s nicely black too:
I have no preconceptions about this mascara to be honest so I wasn’t expecting much. Generally speaking I dislike 85% of the mascaras I try, 14% is ok and 1% I love. So how did this simply packaged mascara do?
One coat:
This mascara takes a bit of work – it’s not an “instant” mascara in the sense that you need two to three coats for it to start showing up. It’s a dry textured mascara which in my experience holds curl quite well.
Two coats:
I’m not seeing much volume, but lots of length and a richness to the lash. There is every so slight clumping at the roots.
Third Coat:
I guess this mascara looks quite good when layered, although I couldn’t get a completely clump free, crisp finish I’d like. Nevertheless, I would put this in the “Good” mascara category – my lashes are longer, not crispy, no irritation, no flaking – so I wouldn’t kick it out of bed, so to speak.
Every tried Mally?

OMG a volumising mascara that doesn’t clump on straight sparse asian eyes like ours?!?!??!?!

Doesn’t look so bad, but I haven’t found my perfect mascara yet if there is such a thing that exists! I just don’t know what to buy for my eyelashes
