One of Etude House’s newest releases is Nymph Aura. This was released early Autumn but I’ve only had a chance to review it now!
The Nymph Aura collection is quite small and consists of 2 primers, 2 lipsticks, 2 lip glosses, 2 tint blush gels and some other random pieces (like a loose powder and a 3pc nail polish set). It’s a very pretty, delicate feel range although and the name, Nymph Aura has that sort of etherial feel to it. I bought 3 products from the range, all of the No. 1′s which are the pink toned products. The No. 2 products are coral/orange toned:
The primer is the most interesting product of all; it’s called the Nymph Aura Volumer which is a plumping, glossy primer which can be used with BB creams or mixed in with foundation. There’s a Nymph Aura Shine Lips lipstick, and the Jelly Tint Blusher too. Let’s look at the primer first!
It comes in a cute bottle. The product is a pearly gel type primer and it is so weird. It has a kind of oiliness, and stickyness which reminds of liquid vaseline. I know right? Like – say what?! I dabbed this on my cheeks and it added soft shine and was almost like a super glowy face gloss. Practical for every day? Errr I don’t think so. It reminds me of smearing my face is melted butter. Weird.
It just adds a sheer clear shine to the face, there is no tint of colour there. Weird, weird product.
The lipstick is far more typical and is in the usual Etude House lipstick shaped tube. It’s a really nice colour; it looks like a deep pink in the tube but applied is a really soft, shiny, glossy, hydrating colour. It is really pretty and although the colour is forgettable if you haven’t tried one of the lipsticks before, this could be a nice place to start.
On the lips:
The texture is like Japanese style watery lipsticks!
The jelly tint is also a really interesting product; it’s a bit easier to use than face tints which can streak and dry quickly. With this jelly you have more time to blend it in and it gives a super soft finish. For me though it is too natural and sheer, it could do with a bit more pigment. If you are pale this could be enough tint for you.
It has quite a silicone-y feel but it doesn’t feel too bad although it lasts 3-4 hours tops.
Verdict:
Overall the Nymph Aura collection is cute enough but is also a very natural, fresh, somewhat blah range to use too. I like the lipstick but it’s nothing I couldn’t live without. If you love natural and glowy make up though this could be a range for you.
*I bought this from ebay.

Pretty range! Not too sure about smearing “butter” on my face though!

Hello, I saw on etude blog & youtube, Nymph Aura Volumer is not a face primer but kind like a highlighter. You have to mix it with foundation/bb cream to get a healthy glow look on your face. For face primer from Nymph Aura line named Nymph Aura Boosting Primer. Cmiiw

I’m sorry but you do not know how to use the volumer. You are supposed to mix it with bb cream to get that dewy complexion.
