One of Etude House’s most popular range is the Moistfull (two L’s) range, which is supposed to be super hydrating for dry skins.
The Moistfull range encompasses skincare and cosmetics. I recently spotted this Aloe Soothing Gel, part of the Aloe Moistfull range which is packaged in green (the rest of the regular range is in peach coloured packaging). I am all for hydrating gels because I just cannot bear to have cream on the surface of my skin (even though it is very dry).
As well as containing organic Aloe Vera, this contains Baobab Tree extracts.
Aloe Vera has a wide range of benefits, especially when applied to the skin; it’s soothing and helps with minor skin infections and burns.
Now – regular Aloe Vera gel can be purchased from the liked of Holland and Barrett, and if you are my Nan, you will just grow your own plant. I think that’s all lovely, but it must be said that 100% pure Aloe Vera Gel for me, leaves a thin white film on my skin – a bit like what you’d get if you spread egg white over your skin.
This kind of product doesn’t leave that sort of film, it sinks in nicely without any bother.
This comes in a pump bottle:
The gel is very light textured and sinks in nicely without leaving any residue. It suits my sensitive skin and one pump travels quite far (ie. covering one arm). On the other hand, the bottle only contains 150ml of product which will be quite easy to get through…makes it hard to justify using it every day as it cost about £11 with shipping.
