Do you like a bit of lip plumping?

Ever since Duwop’s Lip Venom, every other lip gloss I buy has menthol-tingly ingredients in it, devised to make my lips look fuller.

*newsflash* I don’t need thicker lips! Seriously, I have used some lip glosses that have burned my lips so badly, and when I go outside and the cold air hits it – OUCH!

Although, I guess I am partial to a little tingling.

Plump & Shine arrived in Candy, a sheer pink.

They say:

Plump & Shine is a multi-functional new lip gloss that instantly and visibly plumps up the lips for a fuller, more sensual and defined pout while coating them with a moisturising liquid shine.Plump & Shine is a multi-functional new lip gloss that instantly and visibly plumps up the lips for a fuller, more sensual and defined pout while coating them with a moisturising liquid shine.

Plump & Shine comes in three shades, Nude, Candy and Seduce. Nude is not actually nude, it has red tones. Seduce is more of a hot pink. Candy is the most natural and the one I opted for.

This gloss boasts a few things; lip plumping qualities, long wearing qualities and shine.

Does it deliver?

Well the shade is pretty enough – it’s a pink with some sparkles. It’s quite a safe shade, nothing madly wild here.

As for the texture – it feels like a pretty standard gloss – not too sticky, and it’s sheer, sparkly, shiny:

The tingle factor…this is not uncomfortable to wear at all. It’s what I call a nice level of tingle, not the one that sends you diving for the Kleenex box, dying to swipe it off. It plumps a little (see above) adding more pout through the glossy finish and slight swelling.

It’s not a bad lip gloss at all – a lot of the other lip plumpers I own (Lip Venom and Lip Fusion) burn a bit too much.

Pros:

Nice tingle,not too strong

Nice effect on lips (but quite natural not a collagen jobby)

Fairly hydrating

Cons:

Expensive at £24.95

Not a big colour range

If you like this kind of thing you may like this gloss. I personally wouldn’t pay nearly £25 for the gloss because I have so many, I’d opt for more unusual coloured gloss.
