The Face Shop is a Korean make up and skincare brand who makes quite a variety of products! Their products place the emphasis the ‘eco beauty’. I bought three of their blushers from the Lovely Me range to try:

I was suckered in by the packaging – so cute! This shape blusher always reminds me of Shu Uemura! The strange thing is I always forget to apply blusher – I always do my base and I can apply lip colour when I’m out and about but I always forget to blush!

I got 3 shades:#alttext#

OR202 is a medium bright peach coral shade with no shimmer.

PK102 is a soft pink with no shimmer.

BR801 is a beige-champagne type colour which works as a highlighter with shimmer.

These blushers have the right amount of pigment – they’re not super pigmented like say Nars, but they have just enough so you don’t over do it.

BR801 is a night highlight, with soft shimmer. The PK201 is a soft pink quite a dolly shade, nothing special. OR202 is really lovely, it looks pale but works really well on my olive skintone.

Verdict:

These powder blushers have a slight hint of chalkiness but once you apply it on the cheek, you can’t tell. If you are expecting Nars level pigmentation or shimmer you won’t get it – but these are affordable at £6, well packaged and a rather nice addition anyway.

OR202 looks really pretty! I wish they had The Face Shop products in the UK, I’ve read about so many of their products online that I’d like to try out!
