Back in 2009 I looked at the whole set of Lanolips lip balms – lovely jubbly and can I just say that I still have them so these things last forever?!

It comes so beautifully packaged:

Have you tried Lanolips yet? It’s quite different to other lip balms, it’s very thick but it spreads nicely and sort of leaves a coating…I don’t know, it seems to last quite a while on the lips because of the consistency.

Lemonaid is one of the new releases from Lanolips:Lanolips Lemonaid Lip Aid is an ultra rich and creamy whipped lanolin lip treatment with organic lemon oilto naturally exfoliate, leaving lips fresh, soft and moist.

The citric acid in the organic lemon oil acts as a natural exfoliator on dry, dead skin; when applied there may be a slight tingling on the lips as it works.

So this one is sheer and has a light shimmer to it. It does smell like lemons, in a nice way, quite zingy and not a sugary lemon curd quite smell:

So this doesn’t have any pigment so it’s for those who want a natural, shiny, slightly shimmer lip. I like the choice of lemon, it’s very fresh, not sickly like gingerbread cookie muffin or something stupid like that.

I didn’t really feel any tingling on my lips (I did wonder if it would hurt the more chapped bits, it didn’t) but like the other Lanolips products I think it’s a damn good lip balm.

You can buy it from Boots or Victoria Health.

Do you know how long this will be available? I would LOVE to get my hands on a tube but won’t be in the UK until June. I wish Lanolips would come to America!! They could make a killing in Ulta or Target.

WOW. This looks really pretty and sparkly. I also love the fact they chose lemon rather than something sweet, it’d be nice to have a change on my lips!! Definately going to check this out when I see it in Boots.

Hi Laura

Agreed – its not a sugary lemon? It’s more of a real lemon which I prefer!

I’ve been wanting this for a while now, along with the apple and the sunshine lanolips! It’s a case of getting round to ordering it off Boots.com though lol I’m glad they’re finally available in the UK!!

Hi Jen

Oh yeah! I think you’ll like them, the texture is unusual but nice for really dry lips

I’ve been meaning to try out Lanolips for a while, so lemon + a lovely sheen is a definite for me!
