Despite having lots of under eye concealers I can’t help but try and seek out the ultimate product that works for all skintypes…

I got this Pixi Correction Concentrate Concealer in Brightening Peach and didn’t really think much of it. It looked like a whole host of other brightening concealers I’ve owned before, and I wasn’t really in the mood to open up another one and have another half used product lying about.

But I got bored so….

Pixi, I think, as a brand does have something about it. It isn’t marketed a lot. It’s easily ignored in Boots. They do have some really nice things though, especially their pencil eyeliners.

They say:

- This highly pigmented correction concealer instantly softens and blurs lines and erases darkness

- Skin immediately looks fresh, rested, bright and youthful

- This good-night’s-sleep-in-a-jar cream is correction perfection

- It contains vitamins C and E to nourish, protect and revitalize your skin

- Also contains vitamin A for its anti-aging effect and rose-hip extract to boost skin elasticity

Here is the concealer in brightening peach.

It’s a bright pink-salmon-flesh – weird tone. It looks weird but really I know now that salmon-pink concealers can work remarkably well on under eye circles:

This brightening concealer is really good. In fact I’d even say excellent. It reminds me of Benefit Erase Paste, but you know, it’s BETTER. It has a firmer texture, less sloppy so therefore it doesn’t seep into wrinkles, lines and creases so easily.

But it’s also not too hard or waxy. It’s thick enough though to give a good level of coverage, more so than your Touche Eclat’s (if medium-high coverage is what you need).

Scary, tired eye:

I was surprised by just how good this product is and it’s my current daily under eye concealer. It’s pretty concentrated so you only need a bit, it’s hydrating (which I like as my under eye area is dry) and it does brighten without looking too racoon like.

I can imagine this will work for fair – medium tones. Like!

Looks really great! I have a few Pixi items, like the eyeshadow palette and neutralising palette plus the blusher that I picked up from Tk Maxx (think they must have been repackaging or coming out with new products?) for a bargain price…I love the cute Pixi packaging!!
