I’m a complete Shampoo whore at the moment – I am on a constant pursuit of a dream shampoo and conditioner. Or am I the pimp?
I have been using a Shampoo and Conditioner from the Organic Care Systems range – Aqua Boost and Status Quo specifically.
These shampoos smell delicious – fruity and yummy – but that is not enough to make a shampoo great, is it?
At first I wasn’t so sure. The conditioner needed to be left in for a good few minutes to be effective. Ok, nothing wrong with that…but then Voila. Love.
When using this Shampoo, it immediately feels like silk. It’s very hard to describe because I haven’t had a Shampoo do this before – it’s like you feel your hair softening up as you wash it. The conditioner then needs to be left on for about 3 mins on tangly hair….the result is SUPER GLOSSY and SUPER soft hair that just shines. I’ve also left my hair for 2 days now without washing and my scalp is fine (it’s usually very itchy and greasy by the end of day 1). I think I might even be ok for Day 3! (I want to avoid over washing my mop…)
It’s not a easy brand to find though, although a Google search will throw up a few places you can buy it online (about £7 per item).

Excellent review, Row! It sounds like our hair is a bit alike… I get itchy and greasy by the end of Day 1 so I wash every day as well. Have you ever tried Garnier shampoo? Awful for my hair…

Hi Abby
Oooh I haven’t touched L’oreal, Garnier, or an of the really commercial stuff on my hair for a long time, cos then it’s itch-city, its like I have a bad nit problem…unless I actually do?!
