So I like my smelly bath stuff but I’m not looney into it like some – however, I was rather excited and giddy about these home made bath products made by Enchanted Bath, Body & Waxworks, a small UK company who make sugar scrubs, perfume oils, moisturisers and a plethora of bath goodies.

I was sent a lunch box style Halloween box – had no idea what would be inside:

I love the little touches like the plastic snake and sweeties littered in the box.

There were so many cute samples to play with! Their foaming sugar scrub, I think, is one of their main products and for halloween, it is called Monster Mash!

I also like the idea of a foaming sugar scrub – I am too lazy to scrub most of the time but this kind of product is like a 2-in-1 – it’s not drying either. Monster Mash smells sweet to me, like candy.

Open the lid and….

Cute! There’s a spider in there, how cute would this be for a kid or teenager (or actually…a giddy adult like me).

The sugar scrub is soft in texture, like most scrubs but it’s got a good level of abrasiveness – not too scratchy but not so soft that it doesn’t make a difference. If foams quite nicely too so you could definitely use this as a scrub and wash.

Here are some sample sizes of the other Halloween scrubs – I can confirm they smell LOVELY and are all very foamy and leave the skin smooth and soft.

Vampire’s Touch is vanilla and peppermint, Violet Vamp is like sweets and violets, Ghost is more floral, like a rosey smell.

I believe that you can request your scrub as ‘undecorated’ (no glitter, sprinkles etc.) so if you are allergic to certain things, get in touch with them they might be able to make something up for you!

I have sensitive skin so seeing lumo-green scrub didn’t fill me with confidence but I can confirm I didn’t experience any allergies!

My favourite scents were Pumpkin Patch (smells like a chai latte!) and gingerbread (nom!). I actually like these so much I might get the big Halloween set since these are limited edition flavours.

Sugar Scrub Ingredients: Sucrose, Aqua, Glycerin, Sorbitol, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Disodium Lauryl , sulfosuccinate, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Chloride, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Propylparaben, Butylparaben, Isobutylparaben, Tetrasodium, EDTA, Parfum, Simmondsia Chinenis. +/- CI 14700, 42090, 14720, 19140, 17200, 15510, 60730, cosmetic glitter. May contain allergens.

Also in the box was a perfume oil – Bath Pixie was a pure hit of Vanilla. I am a fan of Vanilla although it makes me crave cake. This was nice, I’ve had it in my bag for the last week. It is very sweet though, like pure cupcake goodness:

The Sublime Spray is a Multi Use Spray – this can be used on the skin as a light moisturise, on the hair to tame frizz and add shine or as a linen spray. There are tons and tons of different scents – they have a handy scent list here. Sublime is a sugary sweet vanilla smell with a hint of lime – it’s hugely lovely and a great choice for a multi use spray.

It’s quite strong – so it sort of lingers for the day.

Spooky Cider Bath Milk is something else I got – I don’t have a useable bath at the moment so I can’t use this! Will give to my friend to try, lucky thing. It smells of vanilla with some spicy edges of Cinnamon and Clove.

I also got a Whipped Bodywash in Holy Water, a pale blue thick creme (hehe fun) – I actually mistook this for body lotion (d’oh) and was thinking, geez, this is thick! I only realised like hours later when I realised my arm was foaming in the rain. Clever.

Verdict:

This was such a fun range to use, I will definitely buy more Multi Use Sprays and Sugar Scrubs – hopefully they’ll do some Christmas specials?! The range is quite affordable – about £6 for the roll on perfumes, £7.50 for the sugar scrubs…

Downside? Just make sure you are ok with colourants and perfume in your bodywash! Oh also, the paper labels don’t last long in the shower but I’m sure their stuff is unique enough for you to remember what it is!

See the range here.
