It’s always nice to try out a new make up brand, and I was recently sent these new products from Mii to try – Illuminating Face Base and Glamourous Trio Bronzing Face Finish:
Mii is a brand that is about ‘having the confidence to be yourself’. There is definitely a clean feeling about the range which I really like, and the actual packaging is in simple black. First off, the Illuminating Face Base…
I chose this in Warm Glow 03 which is a medium shade. It looks quite dark in the tub and I thought it would be almost a bit orange but actually it blends in fine on my NC35 skintone. This product is for radiant, glowy skin. 
This face base is a very rich, very emollient cream foundation therefore it is way too heavy for oily skin types. My skin which is dehydrated at the moment and lacks brightness absolutely ADORED this foundation. It was just what I needed and perked my face up a lot (photo at the end). But seriously, if you are oily or get a greasy face during the day this isn’t for you. To get the full glow of this base you don’t want to powder over it; I can get away without powdering because of how dry my skin is but if you can’t, I wouldn’t get this.
If you have dry, dull skin though, this is a gorgeous, glowy, comforting foundation.
The Bronzing Face Finish is another beauty which looked interesting:
This bronzer has a slightly creamy touch but it is very much a powder! It leaves the skin with a soft glow; there’s three shades, a cream, a brown and a medium taupe brown. It has a light shimmer to it too.
I really liked this bronzer too; the texture is soft but not so pigmented that you can slap on too much by accident (well you can if you load up the brush to much!) but it’s quite subtle. It’s warmer than my usual bronzers but not too orange:
Here is the foundation and bronzer on my cheeks. I really like both of these products and will definitely buy some things from the range in the future! I love love love the foundation and it works right now for the harsh weather (but I’ll be putting it away in the summer!).
