Another mascara review today! I got a little sample size of the Trish McEvoy High Volume Jet Black Mascara a while ago and I took this on my flight with me just incase I had an emergency sparse lash situation on the plane.

They say:

The marriage of Trish’s revolutionary smudge-proof volumizing formula and tiniest-bristled brush enables Trish’s High Volume Mascara to enhance lashes’ volume like never before. Exclusive water-resistant formula washes off effortlessly without leaving a trace.

I have since lost the mascara tube, I think it’s in Portugal somewhere so here it what it looks like:

Now, that brush is just up my street! It’s a tight coiled and not too big.

This mascara follows the same formula as Kiss Me mascara – it forms tubes around the lashes and washes off easily with warm water. This is a GODSEND sometimes I tell ya – most of my mascara’s require a lot of work to get off, especially Japanese ones so it’s nice when it just slips off.

(*Admittedly it’s not such a great idea when you are on holiday with watery eyes and baking hot sunshine).

Anyway on my lashes:

Yeah! I think this mascara did totally add length and volume to my lashes in seconds – it’s surprising because the formula doesn’t look particularly rich or fibery on the brush….

Overall, I really like this mascara! It’s like Blinc Kiss Me Mascara (which I think doesn’t do much to lashes – it was a phenomenon when it first came out but not dramatic enough for me) but with balls.

If you use Blinc but want more of a result this is the baby for you! I will buy a full size one in the future because I like the tubing technology (not right now as I have about 17 brand new sealed mascara’s to work through first!).

The only fault I found with this was that it seemed to get thick quite quickly, BUT I had a small tester tube which is supposed to last 7 days so perhaps it was just coming to the end of it’s life.

What do you think? Would you try this?

The brush is so tiny! But it works great on your lashes! :)
