I have a massive spot spot for make up range, Heavy Rotation – now made by Isehan, the range is quite bold as far as Japanese make up ranges go – lots of black smoky eyeliners and nude lips!
They released 4 new cream blushers and 4 lipglosses – I got 2 of each to try:
The whole range is very pink based! I got:
Creamy Cheeks in 02 Cutie Pink and 03 Peach Pink.
You only need 3mm dot of this blush! Check out the instructions!
Basically you need very little product.
The blusher comes in a little squeezy tube which is easy to use and handy to carry around too:
Now – these blushers are very very similar to each other! Annoyingly so – you definitely don’t need both of these:
The cream blusher is a strange texture – it is quite pigmented as some cream blushers are a bit too sheer. However the colours are pretty terrible unless you’re 16 or under and like these kind of bizzare chalky bright pinks. It sets and lasts but I just hate the colours!
I also got 2 of the lip glosses – 01 Dolly Pink and 03 Skinny Pink:
This lip gloss is rather nice – the sponge applicator is lovely and very moisturising. Once again though the shades are very similar even if one looks much pinker than the other – on the lips I’d say skinny pink is a touch whiter but that is it.
It does make the lips look lovely and plump though!
Swatches:
Remember when I bought the Heavy Rotation lipsticks – once again these were REALLY similar – so it could be something Heavy Rotation do in which case, there is no point buying more than one variation of their products – they’re just too similar.
My favourite product of all is the brighter pink lip gloss but apart from that there was nothing from this range which is a must have.
Lip swatch of the pink gloss:
Would you try Heavy Rotation products?

Lipgloss is nice. I haven’t tried on this type of blush. I still go for a more pasty texture, because I find it sticky to wear this. But its ok to give this a try.

The cream blusher looks fun! I’ll have to go swatch them – might get them as a gift for a friend. Too bad about the poor selection of colors, but I like the packaging.
