So I’m not the biggest drugstore make up hunter in the world…its just that when you own make up like Nars and Cle De Peau (just as rough examples) you get used to gorgeous quality make up.
Which you canfind for cheaper. But not that often.
Myface (a brand exclusive to Boots.com) has some pretty unusual and rather nice Trios that I have been collecting called ‘Blingtones’. At £9.78 it isn’t drugstore like I remembered it (Collection 2000, 99p) but it’s still not £15 for a solo shadow that high end brands charge.
My collection:
See close up pics!:
There’s only 5 to collect, Solar Sisters (the lightest one) and Band of Gold are the more neutral palettes and my favourites are Purple Haze and Bellbottom Blues.
The idea with Blingtones is that there is one Blingin’ super duper glittering shade in each palette.
Bellbottom Blue:
Yeah, its hot. The funny thing about these shadows is that they don’t necessarily feel like the softest eyeshadows out there – when you swipe them on your hand they are medium pigmented (remember I am comparing to high end brands though) HOWEVER, when you are actually using this on the eyes, the shades are very bright and and easily buildable.
Purple Haze:
I like how this palette doesn’t apologize for not having a base or neutral shade – instead you get the warmer purple and cooler aubergine shade. Lovely.
You can view and buy the range here. I think everyone should own Bellbottom blues, its lovely. (You can also buy this in Boots and use your points on it Full of useful advice, me.)

Very pretty trios! I can’t decide which one’s prettier, whether the purple or the blue!

I have perused this range a lot, but the packaging annoys me for some reason? Its like they tried to make it look like an i-pod, and I don’t really understand why…. I have heard good things about the foundation though too!
