I picked up some of the Scott Barnes loose powders from StrawberryNet for about £10 each (annoyingly enough, they were all reduced this week – D’oh!).
I picked up 3 that I thought would be useful – Translucent, 24k (a bronze) and Diamond Dust (a shimmery beige type powder).
Here is the Scott Barnes Loose Powder in translucent:
It looks a bit whitish, but once its brushed away it leaves a pretty even finish that settles in.
The 24k powder is a warm bronze – seriously golden, I imagine it might be a bit of a struggle for light skintones:
Swatch:
Its very pretty, reminds me of Benefit’s One Hot Minute powder.
Finally the diamond dust is a beige/shimmer powder. I guess you can use this all over but I would suggest its better as a highlighter:

This powder is probably the most versatile of the lot and is a rather lovely buy that I’d imagine would work for most skintones.
You can check them out at StrawberryNet.

I am loving that gorgeous bronze color–how I wish I had darker skin, sometimes And what a pretty beige shimmer for a highlight, too!

I know I’m super late on this post, but I am now obsessed with Scott Barnes makeup and would like the 24K & DD loose powders, but they are no longer available anywhere!
Would you or anybody you know in the beauty world, be able to sell me a sample of each, even if it is at full price, I just want to have the chance to try them, especially the diamond dust!!
BTW, I have 100% rating on ebay and a verified paypal account. You have no idea how much I would appreciate it!
Thanks in advance for ur help either way, super awesome blog!!
