Haul: Face Stockholm Hot Pink Nail Polish & Pot Gloss Review!

I mentioned in my post last week that there were two products from Face Stockholm that I liked the look of so I popped in last week to buy them.

They were a nail polish in no. 56 (£11.50) – a hot pink with blue micro sparkle and a pot gloss (£14.00) in Fanatic, a pink-beige with loads of green sparkle (see I like the sparkle!):

I’ve been comparing what I have and the swatches on their online site and I have to say, it’s a real job identifying what the real thing will look like (certainly the sparkle hasn’t been captured). I really hope they put some real life swatches on!

Closer look:

This pot gloss caught my eye because it’s a pretty beige pink in real life with this multi coloured sparkle in there. So pretty! Natural but glossy and pretty.

I have to say – the sparkles are tough to capture in a photo and it does look a tad too much like my natural lip colour. I guess under lights the sparkle really looks good!

Excuse the extreme close up, I was trying to show off the shimmer:

The nail polish I wanted for the super fine blue that runs through it. Can you see it here?:

Once again hard to capture but it’s a very very pretty nail colour – I love hot neons anyway so that with the sparkly bits only makes me love this more.

The texture is quite liquid and it needs 2 coats to look even but once it’s on, it lasts quite well, about 3 days without chipping (which is good for me!):

Any of these products tempt you?
