Furry Bits: The Naked Soap Company Shaver’s Bar Review

Made for boys and girls, The Naked Soap Company created this Shavers Bar so we could use it whilst….shaving. Obviously.

Its taken me a trillion years to get round to showing you all this, but what can I say? I am no Yeti.

There are lots of Natural Soap companies about and if you want a truly pure, handmade bar of soap you need to make sure you are getting a product that is made out of natural fats and oils and some lye. That’s it. See earlier explanation here.

Anyway – you will notice with the Shavers Bar that it is a very hard bar of soap – this is what truly good handmade soap is, very hard due to curing and it lasts longer because of this.

Now – I thought this soap would be foamer than it actually is – what with us being taught to shave with bubbles and piles of foam.

This doesn’t lather that much. The bubbles are sparse BUT the soap itself is very glidey – which makes it a good tool for shaving.

I prefer non foamy shaving products because…well how are you supposed to see what you’re doing? I don’t know about you, but I don’t want jagged pubes. Just sayin’

Do recommend this if you prefer non foaming shaving help, and want something for sensitive skin (ingredients very pure). It will last for ages, I’d chop it* in to quarters and give it to the hairy beasts around me, for there are many.

Buy it here for £5.

lol, I love your reviews, they make me laugh. This product sounds great, and I’ve been looking for a shaving product. My neighboring hairy beast can use it too.
