When someone mentioned Emani Minerals to me, I kept doing the thing that old people do, “What? Armani? What? Harmani? Wha? Primarni?”.

But no, it’s Emani.

And what a cute product they have here. The Emani Hybrid Cream Colours are a rather interesting little thing, for the eyes and lips (not this particular shade (O Behave) I have though):

Completely handmade, no two are the same. A beautiful blend of shimmers and mineral pigments, Emani Hybrids create sheer or intense colors for eyes, cheeks, and lips. Entirely paraben-free, talc-free, and gluten free, all of our hybrids are made of natural waxes and oils.

I like the fact that they are talc and paraben free! Now on to the product that looks like a powder but is a cream…#alttext#

It is quite simply, beautiful to look at. O Behave is a deep blue with a medium deep blue, with white and then some sparkles. I can’t take away from the fact it looks stunning.

I seriously feel the texture is off though. It’s not quite a cream. It’s not quite a powder. It’s a bit difficult to apply because of this.

It’s supposed to be a cream, but to me, it’s a very dense, thick powder which could, with a bit of work, become creamy. I hand to rub a while to warm the product up and when I got some off, you can see how it is a little flaky:

I found the pigmentation on my finger was much better than the pay off I got on my eyes or even for this swatch (which whilst is VERY pretty, is not anywhere near as strong as in the pan):

You can get all kinds of colours from this palette, use more white, or use more dark blue etc. I do think it’s a very fun product and I would be lying if I said I didn’t want to try more (cos I’m like that) but I’m not blown away by the texture of this.

On my eye – yes it creases and this is the result after using 2 layers – not so pigmented:

Verdict:

So beautiful to look at but I can’t figure the texture out. It would be better if it was creamier OR a powder shadow so I could decide what to do with it!

I think, what with my shiny-object-syndrome, I’d be content just to open it and go ooooh every now and then – it looks so pretty in the pan!

LOL I’m like erin above. I have an eyeshadow like that and I have not touched it yet. I do take it out once in a while to admire though xD
