After my brush with the Wet ‘n’ Wild Color Icon palette in Vanity I had to order a few more to try. I used eBay to locate two more of the palettes in Greed and Pride:

Pide 247 is a green and blue palette, totally up my street and Greed 246 is a mixture of neutrals and smokey grey/black.

This packaging is simple but it’s decent. Nothing too fancy but I can live with it.

One side is matte and one side is shimmers. How does this translate? Beautifully!

Close ups….

Pride (surely this should be called Envy?!) has a matte white, a shimmery off white, amtte green, ivy shimmer, matte navy blue and shimmery blue. As you may know I love my blues and greens so this palette had me at hello.

Greed:

I don’t know why this is called Greed this is more of a Sloth? Perhaps? Anyway it is utterly beautiful – the warm neutrals and dark greys is so chic, I can imagine the colours in an outfit.

You have a matte off white, shimmer gunmetal, matte peach, shimmer peach, matte black, shimmery black/grey. This palette is USEFUL, you know it, I know it – matte off white, peach and matte black can be used on anyone:

Are the swatches disappointing.

Erm…no!

I know. No base used, no water, just a swipe. Gorgeous. Even those mattes so many dread are lovely.

Palette two is also stunning. Those blacks are so rich. The matte neutrals are perfect. I die:

Erm let me think of something critical. It’s not easy for UK ladies to get. Oh the brushes that come with it are lame. But that’s all I can think of. I don’t gush and cheap make up that often and I will happily say something isn’t that great even if it’s cheap – but these palettes are perfect-o-mundo.

I am stocking up on Wet ‘n’ Wild! I am Wet ‘n’ Wild!

What do you think of these palettes?

P.S. I bought from eBay from a US seller, paying around £7 a palette. I know that’s more than the retail price but the service is good and it’s still relatively cheap.

Can’t believe how good the pigmentation is on these palettes! I will definitely be trying to get my hands on some W&W :)

Can anyone recommend a seller for these? I need them in my life and have spent the evening drunkenly trawling the Internet because of this blogpost!
