Baviphat is a Korean brand which has lots of unusual skincare and make up products. I bought some skincare from them recently which comes in very cute packaging in the shape of the fruit or vegetable it is named after!

Mango Magic Brightening Face Mask comes in a not very mango looking pot:

It looks more like a deformed orange.

They say:

A special treatment mask with microscopic oxygen bubbles effectively purifies skin by removing dirt and oil trapped within pores, instantly brightening and rejuvenating skin.

Apply evenly on cleansed skin, leave on for 2-3 minutes or until bubbles have subsided. Rinse off with lukewarm water and then pat skin dry.

I love these kind of masks!I have Bliss Oxygenating Face Mask (I like) and also one from Missha which is similar to this one.

The “mango”:

Mango is my favourite fruit!

This smells of mango!

The mask is a thick white blancmange type mask with lots of little beads in it. These beads are supposed to contain oxygen and you burst them as you rub the mask in then leave it – it turns into a rich foam which is easy to rinse off:

Like the Missha mask and the Bliss ones these type of oxygen masks are super duper quick to use. They take about 5 minutes to use max so they are great if you just like a quick fix and my skin definitely looks brighter at least for a good few hours after the application.

I also think most skin types can benefit from this kind of mask for a quick skin prep:

Verdict:

Overall a nice mask – it’s cute, it works quickly and doesn’t make my skin sensitive or give me any kind of allergic reaction. It’s also quite fun seeing the mask go from a rich cream to loads of bubbly foam!

I bought this from eBay for £8.

lol I had to laugh at the deformed “mango” :D I love the Bliss Oxygen mask too, so it’s nice to find out about a similar one that’s also a lot cheaper! Think I will be browsing ebay for this now :)

Hi Jen

Yeah! it doesn’t bubble up as much as Bavi but it’s still lovely! x

I´ll definitely be looking for this on Ebay. I love beauty products with a bit of a novelty factor.
