Acne Care Night Powders are, well, powders that you apply before bedtime which are supposed to help prevent spots!

These powders tend to be white but are translucent, with medicinal qualities to help control oil, conceal pores, prevent breakouts and seal in moisture.

You can use these powders at the end of your night time routine over your moisturisers.

I have used two, Naris Up Acmedica Acne Night Care Powder and Ettusais Acne night Time Defense Powder. I am not aware of any other brands making the same kind of product, can any one enlighten me?

Candy Says: I really do love these products, even though I am too lazy to remember to use them I definitely notice the different the morning after, especially if I am having an outbreak of acne! If you supper from spots or really oily skin in the morning it’s well worth trying.

I’ve always wanted to try these but never quite got round to ordering them online lol I think my only worry would be adding a powder on top of my night-time skincare products, it doesn’t block your pores up at all does it? I’ve seen an ELF sulphur-based blemish powder, but I don’t think it’s quite the same thing as these night-time acne powders!

Hi Jen

I think the ELF powder is similar! You use it at night and it’s like a mineral powder…I think. I think the same principle is there.

It feels SO WEIRD to put this powder on your face after all your serums but I swear if u are oily this is SO good for controlling it and preventing zits!

I’ve been a silent reader for a year or so. Just wanted to tell you that your reviews are getting more interesting nowadays! There are so many products out there that i have been contemplating to buy but do not dare including this Acmedica, peeling gels, sleeping mask and etc. Keep up the good work ^^
