Cosmagic is a rather quirky little brand from Japan.  Without realising, I have actually tried quite a few of their products, like their measurable mascara, glitter eyeliner and eyebrow pencil!

My latest haul is their Sweet Deco Cheek Blusher which comes in 2 variations; Strawberry Pink and Peach Pink.  I chose Peach Pink:

This cute blusher comes with lots of bits and pieces, so to speak!

In the pack you get; a blusher, a lid, a powder brush, and a fluff brush:

The blusher is a mixture of 2 powders (one is a highlighter) and the heart shape section is a cream. The lid is nice but it’s a bit annoying having to unscrew it.

The brush is an average blush brush and the puff is super cute but WHAT THE HEY?! Who uses this kind of applicator!

The palette:

Peach pink is best for fairer tones so it shows up on me as quite a sheer wash of colour. It does show up, it just isn’t mega pigmented.  It is also quite glittery and the highlighter is whitish pink which means one has to be careful that pores are not amplified, and one doesn’t look to ‘fake’.

The cream portion of the blush is nice although it is quite a firm texture blusher with tons of sparkle. Not pleased about that plus it has a pearly edge (sounding more like a lip colour?!) so be aware of that.  Once you apply the powder over it, it is toned down somewhat but still, if you don’t ever wear shimmer on your cheeks, this is not for you.

See how it’s quite pale and cool toned? I like my peaches warmer and darker than this.
Verdict: I find blusher doesn’t wear well on me and this product is no exception; it’s gone in a few hours. However I love the concept of it being an all-in-one, I just wish the colours were more wearable and less pale/shimmery.
I bought this from adambeauty.com

Very cute! Japanese makeup does tend to have a lot of shimmer in it – it’s very popular there!

Always wanted to try this, as I see the advert with the heart stencil! I’m always torn between trying candy doll blusher or this~

I haven’t tried any of this range but we do have plenty of people asking for it. It looks lovely.
