I don’t have much make up or skincare by Tony Moly, but just the name Tony Moly makes me want to know more!

I bought this Tony Moly Tint in Cherry Pink a while ago. Something about it’s simplicity appealed to me…

Cherry tints are usually so dark dark dark and pigmented that you have to work fast with them and use a light hand otherwise it’s just scary and overdone.

Looking at the wand I was still nervous – it looks pretty dark to me although, most Asian cosmetics had pretty sheer tints.

See the tint? It’s a light gel texture, really lovely much nicer than the super runny Benetint and the like. Gel makes it just that little bit easier to blend in. I also like the sponge tipped applicator here.

I have some glitter on there from another product, this is not from the tint!

As you can see it does leave quite a pigmented red stain, like after eating an ice lolly (I don’t ever bite ice lollies, always suck!) although as with a lot of these tints, they sort of settle a little into the lines. For me I wouldn’t use this tint on it’s own, although it’s not drying I’d prefer something a little more plumped up.

Here is the tint on the cheek:

It leaves quite a nice flush, it’s very pigmented so you only need a bit and you have to watch you don’t overload it! Eek!

All in all a lovely cheek and lip tint – note Tony Moly also does a smaller version of this which comes in a cute apple shaped bottle. Red based tints still aren’t my favourite but at least this one is long lasting, has as nice texture and is pigmented.

I bought this for about £8 from eBay – the apple shaped tint is slightly cheaper I believe!

I have Red Apple (or was it Apple Red..) in the full size & Cherry Pink in the smaller size. I like the colors but I can never apply it with a light hand >__< What ways do you suggest to apply it to get a light tint/wash of color?
