Bison is a Japanese brand with a really random range of products (skincare, face mask, lip balms, lip glosses etc.) that I don’t buy from that often, just because it’s not easily obtainable. I do have a fair few of their lip balms which I like a lot!

When I saw these Plumplus lip glosses I had to buy one – I just think the packaging is cute. You get a main colour and a highlighter / glitter gloss in a heart shaped bottle which is attached.

The main shade is without shimmer and the top coat has glitter in it. I have so many wonderful lip products at the moment it’s difficult to justify buying any more unless it’s something quite interesting for me to play with!

There’s 3 colour choices, Sweet (pale pink), Mode (beige – the one I have) and Feminine (rose pink):

I know, I’m a sucker for nudes. I don’t know why though, I’ve figured rosy pinks and peaches are better on me.

Here is the product – it’s like an optical illusion, I think you get more in the tube but the bottle actually holds more than you think.

With Mode you get a warm beige lip gloss and a gold sparkle. Use together or separately.

You get a brush applicator with the main gloss, a sponge with the top coat. I’d prefer a brush with the top coat, the sponge picks up too much of the other gloss which contaminates the gloss.

Unfortunately I’m not blown away by the colours. They are both pretty sheer and not that interesting to look at.

On top of this, these glosses are supposed to be plumping…they do add a mild effect, in the sense that anything that is pale and glossy is going to add some volume but otherwise…meh. I don’t see any Angelina lips going on…

Used together:

Verdict:

I know the result itself is ok, but it’s not to die for and not something I would purchase again – it’s a cute gimmick but the colour itself is just not interesting enough.

I paid £10.99 for this from beautyeshop.co.uk

Wah! They make it looks super glossy on the packaging! Very cute looking, but they best lip plumper I think has to be the Too Faced one!
