I was starting to feel a bit left out since everyone seems to be using lash serums and experiencing vast amounts of lash growth at the moment…
And then this sexy looking duo from M2 Beaute arrived in the post! This M2 Lashes duo consists of a serum and gloss which is supposed to increase length, volume and the condition of your lashes – and boy do I need it.
Used daily, this duo shows results after 6 – 8 weeks of usage, with maximum results achieved by week 16 (4 months darling, keep up).
The Eyelash Activating Serum contains Panthenol (Vitamin B5), Biotin (Vitamin B7), Hyaluronic Acid, Prodew 300 (absorbs and binds moisture) and more.
They say:
The key active complex *MDN? is a prostaglandin analogue, which in an alternative form has its use in ophthalmology. This modified and carefully dosed ingredient compound stimulates the eyelashes at their roots increasing the number of lashes, extending the eyelash growth phase and delaying the cycle of lash loss.
The serum is applied once only, ideally at night time to a clean eye across the top lid (like a liquid eyeliner).
The Eyelash Revitalizing Gloss contains Panthenol, Copper Tripeptide and Hydrolysed Collagen – it supports growth and adds shine and definition to the lashes.
This is used twice a day (morning and night – wait for it to dry before applying mascara in the morning).
I love the packaging…
A bit of cheap plastic this isn’t. Both of the serums come in thick tubes that looks swish:
They look quite similar but there’s writing on the front so you don’t get confused…actually you cant’ get confused because the applicators are decidedly different:
So this is week 1 of using this product. At the moment my lashes are frazzled from my lash perm (it’s started to grow out).
I’ve had no irritation or all so far using these products, there’s no scent and they’re pretty easy to remember to use. I’m dedicated to the cause!
So here is the starting point. We will revisit in 2 weeks time and see if there’s any different (but remember it takes at least 6 for there to be some results!)
Week 1: Lashes at the beginning
(Sorry my face is highly irritated this week – I have no make up on in these photos hence redness, blotchy skin etc.)
If you’re wondering why my lashes look crinkly and face all directions – that is the downside of a lash perm kids! As it starts to grow out, the permed ones are still permed, the new ones point down so they need a good curl in the morning.
I don’t want to re-perm them so soon – I’d rather wait til they’re all straight again but you never know, I might not need to after using this serum!
So that’s the before. Let’s come back in a few weeks and see how it’s going!

Have you used a lash growth product? If so, which one and did it work?

I’m currently using the L’oreal lash serum, been using it for about 3 weeks and it seems to have added a bit of length and lashes have grown where I had gaps from overzealous mascara removal! However, I find that it can make my eyes a bit red, although nothing major, it’s not a problem that I used to have.
The M2 Beaute lash serum sounds similar to things like Revitalash and Lilash (I think these contain prostaglandin analogues or similar?), looking forward to seeing if it works out for your lashes! I was a bit shocked at the price of the M2 Beaute serum though, think I’ll be sticking to the L’oreal for now
Also I think I remember watching a tutorial on KlairedeLys’s channel for making a homemade lash serum, which was interesting, I probably would have given it a go but the only infredient I’ve got is the vaseline lol

Hi thanks for commenting on my blog.
I also use the clarisonic plus brush, kose seikkishou facial soap, blue aqualabel prods.
I hope the lash serum works hot you. I’ve never tried growth serum I’m too scared of random hair growing around my eye area! Lol

I used Talika Lipocils for about a month, it was amazing – my lashes were a lot thicker, stronger and fuller

M2 Lash serum and conditioner. I’ve got pretty good eyelashes – but hey, who does’nt want longer, stronger lashes ? Been using M2 lashes serum and conditioner, and wow, it does what it says on the box, in fact my outer top lashes looked false (good, eh?) But….there was a downside. Where I applied it, it turned my eyelids pink and blood vessels look ‘burst”. Longer eyelashes V piggy eyelids. You decide. (In defence, it does say “if you don’t want possible pink eyelids – do not use”) But you would’nt know that, until you’ve bought it, opened it and read the leaflet.

Hi Yvonne
I had to stop using M2 because it did sting my eyes too much. I gave it to my mum and she also found it stung
