Because I am soooo young and soooo perky (ahem) I passed on this Transformulas Face Control & Lightening Cream to my auntie to try for 6 weeks.

They say:

Because this American Beauty Award-winning formula is a partnership of the wonder ingredients EYESERYL and Gatuline Expression – two active elements in the front-line war against ageing skin.

It is supposed to: BRIGHTEN, FIRM, LIFT SKIN, REDUCE PUFFINESS, IMPROVE HYDRATION, CALM, COOL, PRIME AND I DON’T KNOW WHY I’M USING CAPS

An example of what this face cream should be doing:

Here is my aunt and over to her:#alttext#

“I’ve been using the cream for almost six weeks and I really like the result. At first I was worried it wouldn’t be hydrating enough because I have dry skin. However, my skin feels comfortable with this cream on and I usually use a very thick hydrating cream. There is a mild tingling sensation but nothing uncomfortable.

I have noticed my skin looking brighter (not lighter) and a general improvement in my complexion. By this I mean that my lines are a tiny bit less visible and there’s an overall improvement in clarity. I am concerned about oiliness on my nose and also pores but this refined the overall texture of my skin more than my usual moisturizing cream on its own.

I didn’t notice any major lifting on my skin but then I don’t really have sagging skin and I have only been using it for around 6 weeks – I don’t know if any lift would be more obvious on something with slacker skin.

I don’t really wear foundation or concealer any more so it’s just my skin on show day to day and I have to say this has improved my confidence.

My only criticism is that for the summer it seems fine but in winter it might not be nourishing enough.”

So there you go, you heard it from Auntie Candy herself.

The cream is £34.95 from here.

Oh yay :)
how cool is that.
hello @cosmetic_auntie.
Next, I want the @cosmetic_baby reviewing baby oil.

P.S
Could we have one day a review by Mr C about women and makeup, and how he prefers it?
