This rather funky looking MUFE Flash Colors Palette was a Christmas present from the Mr.

Its basically a plastic palette of 12 Flash Colors (MUFE’s full coverage, cream colors for face, eyes, lips and cheeks.) The best colors are all in the palette!:

Contains:

Gold 004 (metallic gold), Coral 002 (vibrant coral), Turquoise 000 (light turquoise), Fuchsia 005 (bright fuchsia pink), Yellow 013 (vibrant yellow), Brown 023 (dark brown), Silver 003 (metallic silver), White 010 (pure white), Red 017 (bright red), Bright Blue 014 (bright royal blue), Leaf Green 008 (bright green), and Black 011 (pure black).

So really you can mix together nearly any color in the rainbow if you are in that way inclined. You can also use the colors neat – for SFX or just for something a bit different:

Let’s get it out of the way – this stuff creases on the eyes. I have another individual pot colour somewhere, and it will, rather quickly look all oily on the lids, but it is the perfect base. You can also set it with a translucent powder to set it.

The gold and silver in here reminds me of Illamasqua’s gorgeous liquid metals…same amount of pigmentation but of course if you get it in this palette, you will save yourself some money…

There’s two sides to the palette – The bottom flash colour looks like a mould of someones boob.

Swatches (one swipe only):

See how pigmented it is? Gorgeous.

Note: Certain colours aren’t recommended for the eyes – red, coral, pink and the blue is not recommended for the lips. There’s an ingredient in red eyeshadow which can irritate some peoples eyes. Not everybody’s but the disclaimer is there.

The Mr paid £65 for this and I will never hear the end of it. If only he knew how much make up costs us, eh, ladies?

The US price (on Sephora) is $95. As of today (13.01.10) $95 is about £58 so its not too much of a mark up.

Not sure how much you get in each little cube, but I doubt a normal gal will get through it in less than 2 years – probably longer unless you are coco the clown.

Ladies going to IMATS London will probably have a chance to see, try and buy this at a discounted price too, but its fab, really pigmented, useful and just a nice thing to have in your collection.

I must save up for this palette. It’s too good to pass up. I’m shocked at how pigmented it is with 1 swipe. WOW! The swatches won me over. Thanks! :D

Yeah, they had this at IMATS Toronto for $60 (40% off) but sold out in the first few hours of the first day :-) So if you or somebody goes, goes early
