I’m a bit late with this one, but I got my paws on the beautiful Dior Night Butterfly Quint, that is part of the fall Jazz Club collection.

Dior Quints > Chanel Quads. If you know what I mean.

I love purples and they suit me but for some reason I am always drawn to greens instead. This quint comes with a mixture of black, purples and lilacs in the usual pretty palette:

See swatches after the jump!I do love how you get 5 colours rather than just four – it means you can really do two different looks (a cool, smokey eyes with the grey and black) or very much a purple eye.

The Lilac (lightest) – is the least pigmented shade. Its slightly iridescent when applied, is fine as a highlighter.

The mid toned purple – also is not the most pigmented, has a medium shimmer finish. Nice to blend with but not the most special colours

The dark plum is especially pigmented. A really lovely rich purple.

The grey is medium pigmented, is a nice silvery-foil shade.

The black has a silver glitter in it – can be used as a liner.

This is a nice palette – well worth a look if you like purples. Its very much a smokey eye palette, and I wore it for the day and had to be careful I didn’t go overboard. You can avoid the plum and black altogether if you are doing a natural eye look.

I have my eye on the newish Quints Dior has (with a cream glittery gel included) – very Japanese-make up-esque!

On the eye:

Wearing fake lashes of course, and Bobbi Brown Gel Liner:

This is Limited Edition so pick it up while you still can! At £36 its not cheap but if these are your colours, its worth a go!
