Review: Skinfood Peach Sake Ice Mist Sake Spray

July 1, 2009 |

I went mad a while ago and bought a ton of Skinfood make up which is hit and miss. I can’t question their sheer variety of goodies though.

The Peach Sake range is one of the more talked about, coveted ranges. I can see why – it smells lovely and works quite well. The peach range is especially for pore care, and sebum control – thus removing oilies and tightening the pores.

The Ice Mist spray popped to mind because I have been DYING in the heat. Look, I would rather be an Eskimo than a Beach Babe. Seriously.

Peach Sake Mist has a cooling element in it which traditional water based sprays don’t, unless you store them in the fridge.

They Say: An icy-cool face mist that tightens pores and controls sebum. Rich in sweet peach and Japanese traditional wine sake. Soothes reddened and skin and alleviates morning face-puffiness, keeping skin soft and refreshed. Even removes make-up.

Important – you do not spray this directly on to the face – its kind of fizzy so you spray it on to a tissue or cotton pad first.

Well it doesn’t take make up off but it does smell like heaven (one lined with peaches) and really refreshes the skin nicely. I like it a lot although the fact it shouldn’t be sprayed directly on the face (although I admit I did anyway) limits its uses…don’t want to accidently blind yourself, do you?

I got this for about £8 from eBay. I like I like! I just wish I could use it with a bit more willy nilly.

Kinda suck that you can’t directly spray it onto the face. But I’m gonna do it anyway haha

Hi Sue – Considering some of the make up but I think I am kind of over the brand now….nothing (apart from the peach sake) has really knocked me out!
