After lusting after the Prescriptives holiday collection for 2009 (their last Christmas!) I finally managed to get my mitts on a few goodies.

Ooh I love festive designs. They have two limited edition baked eyeshadow quads – I got one in Warm:

Its a mixture of subtle, wearable golden browns and bronze.

Now, here are the swatches:

Its not the softest shadow you can get – the pigment is more of a subtle sheen, like the Chanel shadows. Someone told me that baked eyeshadows are always a little harder than pressed ones, but I was also told by a Shu SA a long, long time ago that their shadows were baked and their old singles were buttery soft. Hmmm….

On the eyes:

I kinda like the orangey gold:

The Lustre powder comes in a bronze and pink variation, I got the bronzey one which has a gold running through it:

Clearly its made to compliment the eyeshadow – overall it gives a really warm, glowy but subtle feel. Its a pretty range, worth checking out before all of Prescriptives disappears.

those shades are beautiful- they remind me of the gold and bronze leaves in autumn… *sigh*

Very pretty packaging! A tad too warm for me though

Lovely! The bronzer is rather tempting… Maybe I’ll pick up something if anything’s left in January.
