I was just do a random Google search when I found a little natural skincare company called MuLondon. They have four face creams, 1. Hemp, 2. Lavender, 3. Marigold, Frankincense and Myrrh and there was one I just had to try…Organic White Chocolate Truffle. Yep you heard me.

Organic. White. Chocolate. Truffle.

White. Chocolate. Truffle.

Chocolate.

Truffle.

I don’t touch white chocolate in real life unless it ends in ‘-bar kid’. I find it too sweet.

This 60ml thick white cream contains organic Shea Butter and Jojoba Oil and extracts of Cocoa and pure Bourbon Vanilla – the ingredients are all Vegan friendly. It contains no mineral oils, parabens, silicones, emulsifiers or other man-made chemicals.

Ingredients: Vitellaria Paradoxa (Shea Butter)*, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut Butter)*, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba Oil)*, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary Extract)*, Vanilla Planifolia (Vanilla Extract)*, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa Extract)

Now – I try a lot and I mean a LOT of organic and natural hair and skincare goods because I always avoid, if possible horrid preservatives. However if I am honest, I can get irritation with organic ingredients too and the herbal smell doesn’t always agree with me. I’d much rather have non fragranced most of the time. (Although I know organic products tend to use essential oils or ingredients that have natural scent so it may be unavoidable).

My point is, its fab to have organic if you can but it doesn’t necessarily mean it will work for your skin.

White Chocolate Truffle cream comes in a heavy jar and is a very thick cream to touch. It’s almost solid when it sets and you just need to scrape a very small amount off, let it melt in your fingers then rub it in. I was concerned that this would be too rich but actually, when you rub it in it disappears beautifully despite how solid it looks (almost like a balm). Applied on damp skin, its wonderful as it seals in the moisture.

Overall? This is a wonderful cream – really wonderful. It smells lovely without being too much and the texture works really well at sealing in moisture. I have a bit of oilyness but using skincare (expensive too, might I add) for anti aging AND oilyness has really dehydrated my skin. Give me soft, plump juicy skin anyday.

This smells good, works well and is very economical and affordable. I am hiding it from the other half as he will swipe it for his hands if he finds it (he might eat it too…).

The only instance where I think this may not work is if you have very oily skin you may find it a little too much in which case, Lavender or Hemp may work better for you.

This jar cost £13 from here and shipping is just £2. They also ship worldwide.

Verdict: What the hell, Christian Bale is on TV so I’ll give it a 5/5

I started using the Made from Earth Vitamin Enhanced MOISTURZIER when Made from Earth first came on the market years ago. There are two specific reasons why I continue to use it.

I am sensitive to cosmetic product smells and perfumes – I can only use chemical and fragrence free – it certainly does not make my eyes water – and its ability to be absorbed by the skin without leaving a residue, or greasy feeling. Some skin products have left my face dried out even though labeled as “moisturizers”. The Made from Earth Moisturizer has this wonderful ‘cool’ feeling to it.

A $70.00 jar lasts 6 months – do the math. Some over the counter skin products cost over $30.00 and Made from Earth products on the whole, are fiscally sound purchases for those looking for a bargain.
