A few weeks ago, ASOS did a one day offer where you got free shipping for spending £10 in the beauty section. I got itchy feet and hopped along to order a £10 gift bag (and not a penny more! ha!) from Jelly Pong Pong.

Jelly Pong Pong does gift bags that are usually great value and filled with random goodies. The one I got comes with the Lip Orchid and Shadow Taffy (review and images coming up!)

The lip gloss/tint/colour comes with a pretty Orchid on top of it. Nice. But impractical. But its not supposed to be practical, is it?

Jelly Pong Pong is a funny one. The name and designs suggest they are for teens, yet the range (when not buying a gift bag) is pretty expensive.

Anyway I digress…

The colour looks like a bright, vivid pink but it isn’t. Under that top layer is a light, candy pink – NOTHING like the shade on top:

It smells sweet too – overall quite a thick and pigmented texture:

Shimmery and soft, and as you can see, a pale pink not a hot pink.

Its a cute little addition it is, and you can remove the orchid to make it easier to carry around.

Cute? Like it? Or too gimmicky?

hang on..the colour isnt the same as the vivid pink?! whats the point!! A beautiful colour but why do that? I want the vivid pink colour!

Is it moisturising? What would you compare it too do you think?

This was their gift bag that really got my attention..cant wait to see the shadow review too!

Thanks for the review :)

I think its pretty cute! I would be more inclined to wear the light pink over the bright pink anyways. I do agree that the flower on top is sort of silly though…I mean, what are you supposed to do with it after?
