I was browsing on eBay, as one does, and I spotted these palettes from Graftobian, a US company that I think, mainly focuses of theatre make up (like Ben Nye or Kryolan).

I like the idea of having a HD foundation that looks flawless! I am disappointed by MUFE’s HD foundation quite frankly so I bought one of these palettes, for about £13.

I got Warm 01. There are loads of shade options, you can see them here.

With rich color and coverage yet satin smooth creamy consistency, our Hi-Def Glamour Cremes are formulated to yield flawless High Definition results whether or not you’re in front of a camera. These special palettes were designed to separate Cool, Warm and Neutral shades for artist convenience, poured into professional friendly, attractive packaging.

With the sampler, you can mix the shades together, which is cool. My last shade had a bit of a weird stain but it was fine once I blended it in:

The texture is a little oily, like a light cream. Need powder to set this one for sure. Although its pretty lightweight, I can see that the coverage is there but at the same time, it can be used quite lightly. I haven’t bothered to mix it together yet for the perfect shade but Warm 01 seems ideal for my NC35 skin.

The middle shade is closest to my skin tone but I can use the others for contouring and highlights.

I quite like this base – its definitely flawless, but the slightly greasy edge would keep me from using this as an everyday base – I’d be too scared of bringing on spots.

Its great for photos though and for a more flawless look. You barely need concealer when you use it! Recommended for people with drier skins and those who want decent coverage.

For UK girls, you can get this from eBay for US sellers!

I bought the Graftobian palette ages ago; sadly the texture was not as smooth as that of my Make Up Forever camouflage creme and the staying power was non-existent, even when set with loose powder. :-(
