Hot weather has arrived in the UK – trust me it won’t last. But even so, with just a peek of sun I dashed out to get some sunglasses, dresses and flip flops. But what about the face?

I need something with SPF. Something moisturizing as my skin has been dry, but non oily. Something with medium coverage. So I got this Bobbi Brown Tinted Moisturizer and the new Touch Up Face Stick.

Bobbi Brown, I think makes my favorite base products overall with the exception of RMK’s lovely creamy foundation and La Mer’s Cream foundation (both my HGs). Japanese ranges don’t end to go dark enough for me.

Having said that I normally avoid tinted moisturizer – I find them somewhat orange, as if just because its sheer, it doesn’t matter if its a weird colour. I got BB’s in Medium-Dark which is perfect. It looks just like a foundation but of course, I use it instead of a lotion in the day and it has SPF 15.

I REALLY like this. It gives a surprising amount of coverage and lasts well too even when I forgot my powder. I’m not saying its foolproof but my skin looked natural all day.

The face touch up stick is a mini stick, which you can use for touch ups – it hink its between a foundation and concealer with 17 shades! I got natural:

It’s quite creamy but very nice – covered all my blemishes and redness that appeared in the day. Easy to blend, decent lasting abilities. Recommend this as I love little quick fixes. You could just carry this or use this stick and some pressed powder in the day – done!

The tinted moisturizer is £25.50 and the touch up stick is £17.00 from here.
