One of the Korean brands I haven’t explored is Baviphat, a rather random brand of make up, skincare and hair care goodies.

Meanwhile can I say how much I love looking at Korean Characters! Its a neat language I think…it encourages neatness.

I got this Applemint Pore Tightening Deep Cleansing Balm a while ago – I love deep cleansing balms, used with a hot flannel…..ahhhhhh. Reminds me of having my face washed as a kid – it always finished with a hot flannel on my face.

It comes in a small tub (50ml), and its a thick, which balm which smells of apples. Its very thick, very waxy.

Use it before cleansing – massage into the blackhead prone area and rinse off:

Its interesting really, that something like this can dissolve or remove blackheads (I have a very expensive set from BRTC coming up for review – it cost me a bomb to buy but I had to try it out – its supposed to be the ultimate blackhead solution)…anyway…This product is supposed to dissolve blackheads as its massaged in:

I found it quite nice to use even though its very thick. I massaged it in before cleansing and yes, it did remove the oilies (as long as you remove the product properly) and it did not extract the blackheads but it did make things look a little…better?

I would recommend using this then perhaps extracting if you can – it does make it easier to remove blackheads.

Hmm Mineral Oil is the first ingredient. Not idea but then again, its not on my face for too long:

Ingredients:

Mineral oil, bees wax, purified water, Isopropyl Myristate, Peg-20 Glyceryl Triisostearate, oilve oil, Polysorbate 80, propyleneglycol, Tribehenin, grape seed oil, Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, Polysorbate 20, Butyl Paraben, Apple mint leaf extracts (0.05%), Tocopheryl Acetate, Triclosan, dipotassium glycyrrhizate, Bukler fern extracts, Perfume.

Main Ingredients: Apple Mint extracts (0.05%), Dryopteris crassirhizoma Nakai extracts

Verdict:

If you and your nose have blackhead issues, then this is a good product to use regularly before cleansing. I imagine after having a good extraction this is a nice way to maintain a clean, unblocked nose.

I paid about £7 for this including shipping.

Hi Styleezta

I haven’t yet. Whiteheads is a really tricky one because it can get infected and scar. Let me do some research into this…
