Baths? Where I’m going I don’t need baths.

Well actually, it’s because I don’t have a bath. Well I do have a bath but I don’t trust baths. How do I know someone else’s skin cells aren’t stuck on there?!

I treated myself to some lovely goodies from Abahna, which has some very posh looking goodies for bathtime. Since I don’t have baths, I bought the himalayan salt scrub (£23) and in White Grapefruit & May Chang and the Body Oil Spray (£20) with the same scent.

The packaging is beautiful as you can see, similar to Jo Malone. Its almost a shame to buy it for yourself!

The salt scrub comes in a large storage jar, the kind that scare me when I open them incase I trap my fingers. Alas, this one is not the lethal kind they sell in Ikea, this one opens up slowly:

It’s gorgeous right? It looks nice in my shower!

The texture of the salt is quite coarse – its very much a scrubby scrub. It seems to be a mixture of salt and essential oils – unlike other scrubs that tend to be immersed in cream or some emollient, this feels rougher because there are less fillers in it:

The essential oils settle on the top, so you have to get your hand in there and really scoop some salt out to use but when you do – its lovely! It really made my skin glow and it leaves a trace of scent and a layer of moisture of your skin:

This one is very citrusy but not tart. There are no artificial colours are scents used.

I choose the same scent for my body spray. This comes in a gorgeous box, and is a spray but looks a bit like an air freshener!

Once again this is a really nice, luxurious product. I like body oils anyway because they seem to really lock in moisture. This one is handy as its a spray – it takes a little moment to sink in (its not a dry oil) but once it does, it does moisturize and smell good for ages.

So a touch of luxury but very lovely. You can buy the range here – there are other bath and shower products and also different scents.
