I haven’t bought Stila full price for a long time – there are so many good Stila bargains to be had that I’ve avoided it. However – along with the Mango Crush Cheek and Lip Tint, I just *had* to have this convertible colour in Marigold:

Its part of the Indian Summer collection (yep I’m rather slow) and is a gorgeous gold highligter with a darker bronze.

They Say:

Stila Convertible Color Marigold with 24 Karat Gold is infused with genuine 24kt gold – a known antioxidant with added anti-microbial properties – Marigold features two gorgeously golden hues that will give your skin a natural, youthful glow. Wear shades alone or mix together to create a brilliantly bronzed look.

Oooh, Infused with Gold. Probably 0.0000000000000001% of gold, but still…

I do think that the Convertible Colors are wonderful, and I have collected a few over the years. Gladiola was my first ever Stila purchase which I loved….creamy, pigmented, easy to use. Packaging is nice too!….

These kinds of bronzes are right up my street – I prefer shades like this for my warm skin.

What also attracted me was the fact that the dark brown side would work really well as a contour shade (and it does as its not too orange or red).

The highlighter gold shade is pigmented and a really rich beautiful too, quite full on though…

It doesn’t smell of marigolds. Just a thought.

I begrudgingly spent £18 on this from Beauty Bay – feels rather expensive but its worth it for us bronze loving girls! And actually useable on the lips too, especially the gold as a highlight.

Would you like gold in ya make up?!
