Gel Nails you can do at home is nothing new – anyone who spends far too much time on eBay knows that you can buy a UV lamp and gel polish for around £50. However – I’ve never been tempted by home gel nails that you need to file off when you’re done – seems too painstaking for me and I don’t like anything like fake stick on nails or things that don’t come off easily!

Enter the Nailene Home Gel Manicure System.

Sensationail The No 1 Selling Home Gel Nail System comes to Boots All Mail

I am so very, very tempted by this piece of kit!

Why?

It’s like Shellac but you can do it at home for less than £100.  Over and over again.

Regular readers will know I LOVE the concept of Shellac (quick drying, long lasting) but quite frankly, I’ve tried it 3 times and now it just didn’t last on me.  Plus it dried my nails out so I won’t be doing it again, especially since I’ve paid anything from £20-£50 for the treatment….

This kit sold out in the US when it was launched and arrived in the UK on the 7th March in Boots stores. May sees the launch of 12 new individual colours too.

Sensationail The No 1 Selling Home Gel Nail System comes to Boots All Mail 1This kit contains a PRO3060 LED Lamp, Colour Gel Polish, Primer, Buffer, Gel Cleanser, Wipe, Gel Base, Top Coat and Manicure Stick and costs £85.

You get a high shine nail polish finish  which lasts up to 14 days without chipping. AND – it comes off with acetone nail polish remover which is amazing and pretty fuss free!

One of my big reasons for not painting my nails is that I always end up smudging it as it dries so I would SO invest £85 in this kit, and make sure my nails were chip free for 2 weeks!  It’s far cheaper than going to the salon anyway.

I’ll see if I can get my paws on one of these to test.

What do you think of this home gel manicure system?

I use another brand and i love it,it soaks off using nail polish remover and Your nails stay nice and healthy underneath unlike acrylics that thin down your natural nail every time its done .

That’s why I love CND Shellac, it soaks off so easily and you don’t have to faff around waiting for your nails to dry. :-)
