Just before I went on holiday I decided to buy a few of the ELF All Over Color sticks as a way of talking myself out of buying the Nars Multiples (which I ended up buying anyway later on – tut).

They Say:

3 in 1 color for your eyes, lips, and or face! Get the color that illuminates for a healthy glow, and instantly soothes and conditions the skin for fresh and natural color all day long.

I bought four shades, Pink Lemonade, Toasted, Spotlight and Golden Peach. These are only £1.50 each! It’s tempting to just buy all 6 shades up.

I bought these All Over Color stick years ago when I first discovered ELF. I thought it was ok back then…so I was just revisiting the product really!

These mini sized sticks are really handy and last for a fair while despite being a lot smaller than say, a Nars Multiple.

Here are the shades I got. Toasted is a bronze:

Pink Lemonade:

This is a pretty sheer pink.

Spotlight is a pale white/cream frost – it reminded me of Nars Copacabana:

Golden Peach is a gold tinged soft peach with shimmer:

These All Over Color sticks are as I remembered them to be. Soft, good pigmentation, easy to apply. Actually I think they are a little better now then they were back then, when they were a bit oily on this skin.

This seemed to set quite nicely on my skin, which makes it great for the cheeks and even oilier skins.

To be honest I haven’t used these much since I bought them – I just have so many other products to get thorough, but I think these color sticks, for just £1.50 are tremendously good value, especially if you are looking for a stick blush/highlighter but don’t want to splash out £23+ for the Shiseido one or on a Nars Multiple.

Downside? The packaging isn’t anything special, it’s just a bit of plastic but…it is a bargain price.

Oh just one little thing…I was looking this up on the ELF site for ingredients. I thought this was a poor choice of newspaper cover!:

Although, I guess you’d be pretty stretched to find a positive Daily Mail cover these days!

Verdict:

Excellent little color sticks for cheeks, eyes and lips, more than worth the £1.50 asking price. Ok – the colours are nothing madly exciting but they are wearable and some, like the pink, bronze and white you really can use on the cheeks, lips and eyes!

Ingredients:

Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Ceresin Wax, Synthetic Beeswax, Bis-Diglyceryl Polyacyladipate-2 , Microcrystalline Wax, Cetyl Alcohol, Methlyparaben, Microcrystalline Wax, Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxides (CI 77491 , CI 77492 , CI 77499), Red No.27 Lake (CI 45410), Red No.40 Lake (CI 16035

I have the Pink Lemonade one…it’s a pretty good lip color, and then it looks really nice on me if I put a clear gloss over it.

Thanks for the swatches…I’ve been wanting to get other shades of this and I was unsure of which ones I think I would like. :D
