Cravendale Cats with Thumbs Advert = Win

Mr C came home yesterday ordering me to find the Cravendale advert on YouTube because I’d love it.

I was pretty dubious because this is the man that told me I’d love Mythbusters and a book on The History of Railways. But a man has to be right some times, and I do, I do love it. Please watch:

I’ve always said that the day my cats learn to use their thumbs is the day we’ll lose all control of the television and the right to use the bathroom.

But wait! It’s already started….

Do you have a smart cat?

Smartest thing my cat can do:

Open the doors – we have extremely heavy oak doors which don’t have any ‘bounce’ or give at all, and the handles have springs but they can still jump on, hold the handle down long enough to swing and kick the doors open.

My cat used to sneak into next door’s house, steal their sachets of cat food and eat them in our garden! It’s a good job my neighbour thought it was funny, really…

This is possibly the funniest thing I have ever seen…EVER!!!! The black mog filing her nails looks just like my old cat (aptly named Mrs Cat), although I’m not sure she ever filed her nails…she would mainly just scratch at my shoes and eat spiders! :)

Hi Ms Wedgie

I do wonder if all cats are related…I see many that are similar to mine (but of course to me mine are the cutest!) x

I’m not lucky enough to have any kitties (not allowed in my rented house) but I love cats and the Cravendale advert is brilliant. I thought you when I saw the one cat filing her nails x

Hi Anabella

HILARIOUSSSS! LOL! I remember when we first got kitty, we were too scared to cut her nails so took her to the vet who told us to file them instead. -_- – if I can’t cut her damn nails how the hell am I going to file them? Buy her a Mojito and ask her to tell me her problems whilst I give her a quick file and polish!?!!?

lol what an awesome advert, I like the Crusha ones with the dancing cats :3 I think my cat is a little dim though, I threw it a little toy to play with and it rolled over (?) lol ;P

Hi Lexi

Cats do stupid things like that sometimes. Maybe he’s saying – thanks…but no thanks!

That Cravendale advert’s hilarious! I’ve never owned a cat (my family have always been more dog-orientated!) although I have many friends that do, and I love how they each have their own little personality. The best trick our next door neighbour’s cat does is to sneak into our house (loves our house for some reason and will take any opportunity to sneak in!) when the door’s open and sit comfortably on the front room windowsill watching the world go by, like he owns the place :D

If cats had opposable thumbs they would probably dominate the world.

My son and i love this advert. We are both cat crazy. I think my cat vince is very clever. Whenever i open the fridge he makes this little cry that sounds like milk. Then when i get it out the fridge he tries to grab hold of it.

We’ve never fed him (to be honest, he doesn’t look like he’s been short of a meal lol) but my theory is that because our next door neighbours are Chinese as well, he’s used to the smell of rice and Chinese food cooking, so feels right at home at ours haha
