Hallo, hallo, hallo!
How glad am I that it’s finally Friday. It has been an extremely long week!
One thing I have been keen on doing this week is trying different skincare out because of my increasingly spotty but also sensitive skin. In this case I am thinking that simple is better. I know my skin can’t handle too many anti-aging or active ingredients. SANA Hadanomy Collagen skincare has been around for a while now, and it’s in that category of ‘simple’ skincare imo. I purchased new(ish) Collagen Cleansing Gel and their Collagen Face Cream:
The Hadanomy range comes in pink plastic packaging which doesn’t feel expensive but doesn’t feel horrible and cheap either. They also have lotions, facial spritzes, masks and so on. The USP of this range is that the products contain a high amount of collagen (usually 1000mg).
The collagen in the products is supposed to help hydrate the skin and the cleanser also contains hyaluronic acid, honey and acerole extract.
Both of the products have a natural scent, are uncoloured and are mineral oil free. Score!
First up the cleanser which is a thick gel texture.
I swiped some Canmake waterproof eyeliner on my hand to demonstrate the gel cleanser. I used a small blob:
Rub rub rub…
I then rinsed with water and wiped with a towel. The result is quite impressive (although there is a tiny bit of liner left on my hand, to be fair this is a face cleanser not an eye make up remover) and left my skin clean and very soft. This gel is a great inbetween product; it leaves the skin cleaner than cream cleansers and is more effective with tough make up, but it also has the freshness of a facial wash but doesn’t dry.
The cleanser is very much recommended.
The collagen cream is great value for money as you get so much product and because its a gel-cream, it seems to spread and go very far.
This is the type of moisturiser that suits my skin well (nice and plain) and whilst I didn’t have any adverse reaction and my skin was softer that’s all it seemed to do. My skin didn’t look any more radiant or smoother – perhaps I am asking too much but I would use this as a very basic skin moisturiser because I didn’t feel like it did much more than hydrate a little.
On the driest parts of my face (cheeks) I felt like I could still do with a bit more hydration.
I think normal skins would enjoy this the most.
Verdict:
Both very nice products, the Hadanomy Collagen range is well worth checking out if you want none fussy skincare that leaves the skin soft. The cleanser in particular is great.
